Calling all Youth!
Learning to Live Together Photo and Image Contest: Deadline 15 July 2013

Bangkok, 13 June 2013 – UNESCO Bangkok has launched a project entitled “Learning to Live Together through Education in the Asia-Pacific Region” to better understand how education systems promote “learning to live together.”

Youth in the region are invited to submit photos, images, drawings, paintings or any image that captures actions, ideas or initiatives that promote “learning to live together.” Submissions must include a caption or description in any language. Submissions may also include brief essays or stories to explain in further detail the context behind the image.

An exhibition is planned in Bangkok to showcase the submissions from across the region. One winner of the competition will receive a tablet computer, runners up will be publicly acknowledged and the story behind their images shared at the exhibition. Their submissions will also feature in UNESCO media.

Participants must be between the ages of 15-35 and reside in the Asia-Pacific region.
