About Impression UAJY

Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) is a private institution of higher education, which was founded on September 27, 1965. As a university that based on Catholic values, UAJY keens on promoting excellence, inclusiveness, humanity and integrity in education. Located in Yogyakarta, which is famous for its multicultural communities and its openness to diversity, UAJY creates a program that invites students to explore the implication of multiculturalism and diversity in Yogyakarta in terms of gender, media, and social policies entitled Impression Summer Course Program UAJY. This is an interesting program, as it offers better understanding of social norms in Yogyakarta that is also well known as City of Tolerance. Therefore, this program can play a role in offering different perspective yet creating mutual understanding in this so-called global era.
